New Council of Europe publication on "Liability of Legal Persons for Corruption Offenses"
/The Economic Crime and Cooperation Division has recently published a comprehensive resource on liability of legal entities for corruption offences entitled “Liability of Legal Persons for Corruption Offenses”. The manual looks to provide policy makers and practitioners with an overview of applicable international standards, the concept of corporate liability and enforcement approaches taken by different jurisdictions, and model legal provisions derived from the former two that could be used as a baseline by jurisdictions which are yet to introduce rules in this area. Beyond that, it can also serve as a general reference on criminal and other types of liability of legal entities for wrongdoing to a wider audience interested in this matter.
