EOM: Eerste resultaten

Zes weken nadat het Europees Openbaar Ministerie (EOM) met zijn operationele- en onderzoeksactiviteiten is begonnen, maakte het de balans op. In een kort persbericht van 16 juli 2021 heeft het EOM laten weten dat het meer dan duizend meldingen van fraude, die de financiële belangen van de Europese Unie schaden, heeft verwerkt. Op dat moment was er reeds voor 7 miljoen euro beslag gelegd.
